ESO Motifs and Tabards
I noticed most of new motifs do not make chest adaption to guild tabards. They just have a generic cloth beside the tabard. Let me show. Here is my main crafter with her current outfit:
Let's change the chest to Trinimac and take the tabard away:
Then put tabard back:
The sides turn to generic dark cloth. The arms stay the same and the wings are still there, so it IS Trinimac she's wearing.
The first, Assassins League, has an adaption to guild tabards. All old motifs have this adaptation too. But many of the newer armor do not have it any more.
Another incomplete, Minotaur:

*female issue is a warning of those motifs which have been made by someone who has never actually seen a woman, or shortcut their work, took the money and ran. They have wrong shape in light armor.Double-check before using these motifs for female characters. See this, Mercenary:
... and Daggerfall:
Note that this is light armor - not heavy plate.
All testing was done with female light armor with cp50 level gear (spending void cloth away). Bigger list of images of various motifs with tabards is here.
